How we address equity
Coherent Math’s approach to supporting districts is grounded in the belief that teachers and students deserve curriculum and professional learning that are each standards-aligned, culturally relevant, and personalized for specific district needs. Our focus on equitable practices ensures all students see mathematics as a subject that is relevant to them and their lives. As an outcome, our work increases student achievement, agency, and belonging in mathematics. By supporting districts with research-based strategies, we help create inclusive learning environments where all students have access to a high-quality math education with an HQIM that meets their needs and empowers them as learners.

How we build district capacity
Coherent Math partners with district math specialists, teachers, and instructional leaders to develop personalized curriculum for districts. This collaboration builds instructional capacity and empowers teachers and leaders to be advocates for the resources. We work with system and school leaders to develop personalized professional learning and coaching that is based on the HQIM and targets the district’s mission and goals. In addition, Coherent Math provides ongoing support to district leaders to build confidence and understanding in the curriculum, work strategically to support ongoing implementation by adjusting systems and structures, and problem-solve challenges together in real time.
