Sample scopes of work
What are these scopes?
How we address equity
Our goal is to help every learner access grade-level work and succeed at achieving proficiency and beyond by providing high-quality, engaging, culturally relevant content, along with assessment tools for setting high expectations. Our professional learning furthers this goal by showing educators how implementing our HQIMs with integrity can increase classroom equity and access. This starts with educators learning to use the instructional and language routines embedded in our programs to support productive student discourse for all learners and expands to identifying opportunities throughout each lesson to position all students as capable thinkers, mathematicians, and readers.
Why is this important?
How we build district capacity
Collaboration with district and school leadership is essential for student impact, and we invest in building their capacity to manage successful implementations. Our exceptional service starts as soon as a district decides to adopt. We work alongside system leaders to plan their implementation, including setting goals and developing a professional learning plan, and continue to meet with them throughout the year to finetune their approach. In addition to systems-level support, we work directly with school leaders and coaches on activities critical to sustaining momentum and setting high expectations, including data analysis and structured classroom walkthroughs.
Why is this important?
How we provide curriculum-aligned PL

Workshops

Led by expert former educators, our live professional learning sessions offer sustained, classroom-focused development to build educators’ practical knowledge of program components, their deep understanding of instructional practices, and their understanding of how to balance grade-level instruction with acceleration. These sessions can be delivered on site or virtually.

Coaching

Leaders are essential components of strong implementations and coaching them is an integral part of our professional learning. We work with them to support the essential tactics of implementation and develop their capacity to balance operational and instructional leadership – a key element of change management for successful HQIM implementation.

PLCs

Our professional learning is designed to fit into existing structures within districts. Our series of Collaborative Learning Extensions (CLEs) guide educators in exploring key implementation and instruction topics in professional learning communities (PLCs), grade-level team meetings, or other collaborative settings. CLEs can be led or co-led by a CA consultant.

Consultations

Our i-Ready Partners service teams provide structured guidance to districts on implementation best practices and lead them through the process of determining success conditions, whether they are new or experienced users of our programs. Our ongoing collaboration ensures that curriculum adoption is an iterative process versus a one-and-done activity.
