That is why our Getting Started training and personalized teacher implementation courses are embedded into the HMH learning platform at no extra cost. How we provide curriculum-aligned PL

Workshops

Program-based Getting Started sessions are offered in-person or live online. Teachers learn the key components and lesson structure of their HMH program and plan for the first weeks of instruction. They also explore digital tools and resources to support planning and teaching. Getting Started sessions can be tailored to state/district standards and instructional framework. HMH also offers Program-Aligned Courses. These topical in-person shared learning experiences are aligned to HMH program resources and coupled with online study groups to provide teachers with immediately applicable learning that leverages their program resources to connect pedagogy to practice.

Coaching

HMH Coachly on Ed provides teachers with the ease and flexibility to access personalized support whenever, wherever they need it. Over a yearlong Coaching subscription, teachers will receive the dedicated attention of a well-matched coach. Once logged onto HMH Ed, teachers will be able to schedule unlimited 1-on-1 virtual Coaching sessions, message their coach, and receive timely feedback in a seamless single-platform experience. Grounded in an evidenced-based Coaching Framework, HMH Coachly supports teacher growth by guiding them in high-impact topics proven to impact student achievement. Coaching topics may include integrating their HMH program with instructional practices, addressing classroom challenges, and setting efficacious learning goals. HMH Coachly licenses can be combined with in-person coaching support to extend the coaching experience into the classroom.
