Sample scopes of work
What are these scopes?
How we address equity
Our mission is to work shoulder to shoulder with educators to support great teaching and accelerate student learning. We work to ensure equitable access to great instruction for students in poverty, students of color, multilingual learners, and students with disabilities. Our work is platformed on intentionally centering the experiences of students who have been historically marginalized, supporting partners in interrogating the connection between equity and: access to grade level content, focus of content, and student affirmations. Our content competencies highlight the effect of educator mindsets on student learning; we provide real-time opportunities for participants to reflect on where bias exists.
Why is this important?
How we build district capacity
Effective teaching, engaged students, and rigorous content improve learning. We work alongside leaders to catalyze instructional improvement, ensuring all students have access to HQIM and supports. We build leaders’ skills to develop a vision of effective instruction, progress monitor HQIM implementation, develop improvement plans, and leading through change. We build leaders’ capacity to observe content-specific instruction, supporting teacher planning and internalization of HQIM. Our Curriculum Support Guide (https://curriculumsupport.org/) outlines our approach to supporting HQIM implementation.
Why is this important?
How we provide curriculum-aligned PL
