Research, Development, & Publication Manager, Kids First Education

Nicole Cooley serves as the Research, Development, and Publication Manager at Kids First Education. In this role, she helps integrate the latest educational research and trends into the organization’s resources, professional learning, and publications. Nicole collaborates closely with multiple departments to ensure all materials reflect evidence-based practices and uphold the Kids First C³ Success Model® of collaborating, creating, and committing to ensuring resources and materials put KIDS first. She helps to oversee development processes, to manage quality assurance for professional learning resources, and to guide publishing standards to maintain excellence across companywide initiatives. Nicole also is involved in data analysis, ensuring Kids First’s services and materials remain innovative, accurate, and impactful.

Prior to serving solely in this role, Nicole was an ELA and data analysis coach in various districts and schools in multiple states for over 12 years. Engaging teachers, leaders, and instructional coaches, she modeled research-based instructional strategies, facilitated planning and preparing sessions with teachers for effective instruction, and co-taught within classrooms to grow both students and teachers.
