How we address equity
Equity is embedded in our professional learning by design. We ensure access, inclusion, and high expectations for every learner by grounding sessions in structured literacy and the science of reading, integrating bias reflection, and modeling asset-based practices that honor students’ linguistic and cultural strengths. We emphasize multimodal instruction, scaffolded HQIM use, and adaptations that maintain grade-level rigor. Equity is also an outcome: leaders and teachers leave equipped to remove barriers, align MTSS, and deliver consistent, evidence-based instruction for all students.
Why is this important?
How we build district capacity
We build LEA-wide capacity through structured district and site partnerships that align vision, HQIM expectations, and system priorities. Leaders engage in multi-year planning, refine MTSS, analyze data, and calibrate instructional look-fors to ensure coherence across schools. Teachers participate in job-embedded learning, peer coaching, and HQIM-aligned lesson internalization to strengthen fidelity. Our Grit and Excellence inquiry cycle drives continuous improvement, building leadership-coaching capacity and accountability structures to ensure implementation is sustainable and data-informed.
