Workshops

Workshops are customized to meet individual school and/or district needs. Facilitators use pre-consultation meetings with leaders to identify areas of need to plan and lead on-site and virtual workshops.

Coaching

Coaching can take on a variety of forms based on teacher needs. 1:1 Virtual Coaching Sessions allow teachers to access an expert in in OUR curriculum to solve current problems of practice. On-site coaching includes model lessons, parallel teaching and observation to provide real-time support.

PLCs

Educators meet in grade level or grade band teams to discuss content, curriculum components, challenges with implementation, best instructional practices, and more. Teachers might also participate in-unit overviews for upcoming units of their assigned grade levels. As educators explore each unit, they will engage in the grade-level content while learning about effective instructional routines and considering the unit’s big ideas.

Consultations

School and district leaders meet with our Professional Learning Specialist and facilitators to discuss implementation successes and challenges, current classroom practices, school/district goals and objectives, and a professional learning plan.
