Rivet Education Releases New Research Brief on the Supply and Demand For Curriculum-Based Professional Learning

Rivet Education released today its inaugural research brief, The Supply and Demand of Curriculum-Based Professional Learning 2023 in partnership with the Center for Education Market Dynamics, the Center for Public Research and Leadership at Columbia University, RAND Corporation, the Research Partnership for Professional Learning at Annenberg, and The Decision Lab.

This research brief will be released annually and will highlight

• current data on the supply and demand for curriculum-based professional learning (CBPL); and
• CBPL’s impact on teacher practice and student outcomes.

This initial brief sets a baseline for the data Rivet Education and our partner organizations have and still need to collect to understand the CBPL field better. Our goal is that state education agencies, professional learning organizations, funders, and education support organizations who invest in CBPL can use this annual report to inform their CBPL decision-making, service offerings, and funding strategies to better align with field demands.
