What are these scopes?
How we address equity
All of our professional learning services start with the research on why materials matter, with a particular focus on students of color and using curriculum as a lever for equity across a school system. We support districts to use EdReports reviews, develop their own indicators, and examine materials to learn how well they support culturally relevant pedagogy. We support leaders in their communication and messaging about materials as an equity lever and making the connection between materials and their priorities around anti-racist instruction.
Why is this important?
How we build district capacity
EdReports supports our partners to deeply understand why materials matter, the characteristics of HQIM, and how their adopted materials reflect those criteria. By supporting partners to engage in a robust curriculum adoption process, we ensure stakeholders across their systems understand and are invested in HQIM and their adopted resources. We support partners in preparing for a strong launch of their materials, including monitoring the ongoing use of materials and adjusting course as necessary.
Why is this important?
How we provide curriculum-aligned PL

Workshops

We lead district or state teams in sessions on why materials matter, the characteristics of HQIM and the best practices for developing review tools and training reviewers.

Coaching

We build stakeholder capacity through training and support for individuals, adoption committees, and leadership teams within states or districts.

PLCs

We know that often the answer is in the room, so we work with teams to deeply understand their current context, utilize the experience and expertise within the partnership and collaboratively plan for solutions.

Consultations

We provide consultation to district and state leaders in support of their HQIM initiatives. This includes a variety of consultation approaches, 1:1 meetings, facilitating team meetings, feedback on partner-developed resources, co-created tools, etc.
