How are partners selected for the PL Partner Guide?
Who we are
At Lit, we’re translating the ‘science of reading’ into the science of teaching reading at scale. We’ve distilled decades of research about reading and instruction into the Reading Ecosystem Alignment Diagnostic (READ). With the READ as our guide, we help leaders see their system, (re)design their approach, and implement change through flexible PL and coaching. We build our clients’ capacity to lead, ensuring HQIMs are implemented with fidelity as part of a coherent instructional ecosystem.

Sample scopes of work
What are these scopes?
How we address equity
We design learning experiences that center instructional equity from the start, giving educators the opportunity to grapple with the reality of today’s outcomes while interrogating the underlying systems, structures, and biases that hold those outcomes in place. By focusing on system-level change, we equip leaders with structures to surface hidden inequities across schools, student groups, and classrooms so they can take action. Through our coaching, we model an asset-based approach firmly rooted in a belief in all kids and their endless possibility. Our approach ensures that equity isn’t just discussed but embedded in sustainable systems that drive meaningful, lasting change.
Why is this important?
How we build district capacity
Lit builds district and school capacity to implement high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) by focusing on both system-wide strategy and on-the-ground support. We help leaders design structures for ongoing professional learning, rigorous internalization, data-informed decisions, and continuous improvement. Our learning experiences engage educators in deep study of HQIM, equipping them to align materials with best practices and student needs. By embedding collaborative routines and reflection, we ensure HQIM implementation is a sustained shift, not a one-time effort, empowering educators to deliver rigorous, equitable instruction at scale.
